What is the true meaning of being Authentic, of being “Totoong Tao?”
I have a problem with the way we have equated being authentic to being rude, uncouth and flawed. Even as we are all flawed, there is more to being authentic than just flaunting your weaknesses and blemishes. Maybe it’s the effect of watching too much reality tv? Or the trend of less than decent characters becoming popular and given important leadership posts?
I wish to share with you this piece that talks about the true meaning of authenticity which was featured in Kerygma Magazine.
