“FQMom discusses even complicated finance concepts in a creative and entertaining manner. Rose is thoroughly relatable as she puts her mommy hat on to teach financial concepts and build financial literacy among her readers. More than just understanding economics and finance though, Rose also understands human behavior and what motivates people to act the way they do. Thus, the advice she gives is not only sound but practical and something people can and will actually follow.”

“I’ve known Rose for several years now and I’ve read all her books – Raising Pinoy Boys, The Retelling of The Richest Man in Babylon, and FQ: The nth Intelligence. She is very passionate about sharing lessons on money and family. I wish more individuals can learn from her wisdom and experience as her FQ lessons are beyond money but about well-being. I really believe the topics are relevant and helpful for all individuals, regardless of age or stature. More power FQ Mom!”

“I met Ms. Rose Fres Fausto a few years ago when she guested in our morning show. I really love her energy and passion when it comes to educating people about finances. I won’t forget the time when she held a private FQ (Financial Quotient) 101 session for me and some of the staff members of our show. She didn’t hesitate to answer all our questions. It was truly a memorable experience. I totally agree with what she said in one of her books that money alone cannot buy us our happiness. You may have a lot of money but still be insecure and have a low FQ. That’s why we must know how to handle our finances properly. Good thing we have FQ MOM, who generously shares her knowledge and time with us all.”

“When we came up with an event to empower women by teaching them how to take control of their money matters, learn how to invest, and not always be dependent on their husbands or partners, FQ Mom was top of mind. Who could better address the moms? Rose was an investment banker turned full-time homemaker who raised her sons to have high FQ. We know her husband, her sons, so there’s that credibility. We wanted somebody who would talk to the women, teach them in easy to understand language, and take out the intimidation, uplift, and inspire other women. It was a good partnership.”

“Rose has a gift of making the intimidating topic of personal finance fun and easy to understand by sharing her experience as an investment banker, a wife, and mother of three boys. Because of this, I am sure that everyone who goes through her content will significantly improve their FQ without even knowing it.”

“A few years ago, I told a group of very influential, intelligent, and financially empowered people gathered together for an auspicious event something that I have felt to be true for quite some time, ‘When I grow up, I want to be like Rose.’ That event, by the way, was her gorgeous 50th birthday celebration.
Few people in the world of financial education has the credibility, skills, and authority to talk about managing personal finances that Rose has. She used to be an investment banker. Conversation ends there! So you’ll know why I feel that way, here’s a little background. I was a financial journalist in the beginning of my career, and I used to hound investment bankers for stories (my main job) and at the same time hang on to their every word to learn what I can for my own, then-secret but passionate mission of educating the masses about finances. You see, I myself was as masa as you could get. Sandals-wearing, ripped-jeans stapled, ancient-t-shirt-adorned UP student who grew up in the seashores of a very remote town in Bicol-yep, as unsophisticated as anyone can be. I was fascinated by Rose’s world, and fascinated by her sophistication and beauty as well.
Even more amazing was that she gave it all up to raise three wonderful, grounded, incredibly talented boys. Why would I not want to be Rose? She lived THE life and yet had both her feet on the ground.
But here’s what I admire about her the most. You can count on Rose to have the integrity, character, and skills critically needed in a field where dishonesty is a virus that can be spread by so many asymptomatic individuals. And THAT is what I value the most. When it comes to guarding the personal finances of the Filipino public, isn’t trust the greatest asset of all?
Watch, listen, and heed Rose’s pieces of advice. And all of us will be better off, not just in finances, but in living a truly rich life.”

“FQ Mom Rose Fres Fausto is the Personal Finance resource person everyone should go to when starting their investing journeys! I sure wished I knew her when I started myself decades ago in the pre-internet days. Rose covers the difficult topics of money, personal behavior, and all its intricacies in a straightforward and un-intimidating manner that surely worked when her three boys started investing themselves during grade school. Whenever I’m asked of tips how to invest, no need to “reinvent the wheel” and recompose the lessons myself, a simple readback of Rose’s different books and articles often brings home the “Investing is for Everyone” message very effectively!”

“My first son Patrick was a “bilmoko” (always wanting to buy stuff) when he was young, maybe because I didn’t really impose money discipline on him. When I learned how FQ Mom taught her sons to be money smart in her first book Raising Pinoy Boys, I decided to do the same for my two sons. Now a teenager, Patrick has his own copy of the FQ book and is more conscious than I am, reminding me, ‘Mom, is that a need or a want?’ and knows how to haggle. He writes down his expenses in order to stay within budget. He invests in the stock market, and is applying that same discipline to his health, exercising and eating the right food.
My second son Jed’s FQ is a product of Rose’s second book, The Retelling of The Richest Man in Babylon. By following the three basic laws of money in easy to understand language, he won the Outstanding Kiddie Saver Award given by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas!
And guess what, I have written my own book Raising Young Savers and Investors! Thank you for all the lessons and inspiration FQ Mom!”

“’FQ Unlocked!’ FQ: The nth Intelligence is definitely a game changer for millennials like me.
What I really love about FQ Mom’s teachings is that it is for all including beginners who want to start their financial journey. Her Three Basic Laws of Money are very simple and easy to understand. I hope everyone makes these laws their fundamental guide to building their wealth, just like the Philippine Constitution that all Filipinos must follow. Truly, having a high FQ is arming people with economic self-defense. Cheers to high FQ!”

“Money matters are considered a taboo topic in the Filipino culture. Being in the 21st century, it’s time to gear up and debunk our myths towards finances. Sit back and imagine a 100 million strong Filipino nation with incredibly high financial quotient. Our nation can soar as an economic power in Asia. Kudos to FQ Mom for having a fun yet effective approach in sharing her expertise in the field!”
